Each brick and tile numbered and transported to the current site for reconstruction by traditional Suzhou house builders. Local craftsmen using ancient construction techniques, they preserve historical imprints and retain the memories of daily life from a bygone era.

The giant Taihu stone, weighing 100,000 jin (approximately 50 tons), stands like a majestic mountain. Beside it grows a ginkgo tree that was once split by lightning. Through careful nurturing, it now thrives with lush branches and leaves.

Originating from Weibei, Shaanxi Province, these stone hitching posts are a distinctive form of folk stone carving art unique to northern China. The post tops feature rich and diverse designs, heavily incorporating auspicious motifs in Chinese cultural symbolism.

The Guangxi black stone, weighing 20,000 tons, was transported by train from the mountainous regions of Guilin to the hotel site after a long journey. It has been extensively used for paving the shoreline and constructing pools.

Scattered across the hotel grounds are hundreds of century-old pomegranate trees. Once cultivated as cash crops in Shandong orchards, they have been transformed into ornamental plants, gracing Tongli Lake with their beauty in every season.

The hotel grounds are adorned with crape myrtle trees. In summer, they burst into a riot of colors, with vibrant blooms in shades of pink, purple, and red. Many of these trees feature smooth. The oldest one is taller than 10 meters and is estimated to be several hundred years old.
